Devata is a self-serve Vedic astrology (Jyotiṣa) reading service from AyurAstro. You enter a birth date, time, and place; a precise astronomical engine casts the chart; and a reading is composed only from the classical Sanskrit texts — every statement traceable to the verse it came from. You receive it as a PDF.

It is an academic exploration of how the tradition reads a chart — a window into the texts, not a prophecy.

2  ·  Does this replace a reading with a real, live, human astrologer?

No — and it isn't meant to. Devata does the precise, tedious part flawlessly: the astronomy, the text-lookup, the cross-referencing across thousands of verses. But it has no intuition, no compassion, and cannot read the living thread of your life or answer back.

Nine of the foundational works of classical Jyotiṣa — about 12,783 verses in all:

Choose a reading, enter the birth details, and pay securely (handled by LemonSqueezy — all major cards). Your PDF is then generated automatically and emailed to you, usually within a few minutes. There's no account to create, and your birth details are used only to produce your reading.
